Strategies

My planning strategies include using graphic organizing calendars to plan each unit, based on the foundational sources listed under the Content tab. I also love gathering ideas from fellow teachers and getting their input on lesson materials I plan to implement. Additionally, I research lesson plans from other sources and regularly utilize the most engaging media possible. I am a firm believer in diversifying lesson content and materials, so I prioritize incorporating poetry analysis, project-based learning, and original source inquiry.
